Disability Meeting Points

The final activity of the Disability Meeting Points project focuses on sharing results, fostering cross-sector dialogue, and ensuring sustainability of the project’s impact through structured Round Tables, public Dissemination Events, and ongoing Follow-Up Actions.

These blended-format events bring together key stakeholders from the fields of youth work, disability advocacy, education, and local governance to reflect on the project outcomes, promote inclusive policy recommendations, and inspire further cooperation at both local and European levels.

Objectives

To present and disseminate the project’s key results, tools, and success stories
To engage stakeholders in dialogue about improving disability inclusion in youth work
To promote the adoption of inclusive practices in youth, educational, and policy frameworks
To support follow-up actions and future collaboration beyond the project’s duration

The Key Events:

One offline roundtable with 20 people per country to share the results;

One online roundtable with 15 people per country to disseminate the project;

Social media campaign summarising the success of the project;

Facebook page to update ongoing events;

The project website for lasting impact.

Main Components

1. Round Table Discussions

Inclusive policy dialogues with representatives from municipalities, ministries, NGOs, and youth councils
Topics included accessibility in youth programs, inclusive education, and intersectionality in youth policy
Youth participants and youth workers presented their lived experiences and practical suggestions

2. Public Dissemination Events

Presentations of project outputs (e.g., DisAbility Playbook, camp results, creative youth materials)
Photo exhibitions and video screenings from the Photo Drama and Youth Camps

3. Online Dissemination

Publication of newsletters, press releases, and social media campaigns
Open access to project tools and resources through the project website
Digital engagement with a wider audience, including educators, families, and youth professionals

4. Follow-Up Planning

Collection of feedback and evaluation from all partners and participants
Partner commitments to integrate inclusive practices into their future activities
Exploration of new funding opportunities and project ideas to continue the momentum
